Commercial Projects

Commercial Projects

"Makeup is transforming. Period."

Kayce’s work in the commercial arena is both broad and varied and includes print, television, online, fashion runway, retail, music videos as well as specific commissioned work.

She loves taking a concept and using elements of it to transform each model, actor or hired talent. Kayce’s investment in her commercial work is seen in the way she understands the brand, the project and in the quality of her own work. It all builds toward a common goal - seeing the vision through to success. “I know it can be difficult to find the right makeup artist when there thousands of moving parts that all need to move in the same direction. I work to give my best to the client’s vision.”

Kayce brings all the skills that a trained professional makeup artist brings to the party, but is someone who loves people as much as she loves the work. “I’m proud of what I can do to transform a person through makeup, but placing value on kindness and respect for people runs parallel to hard work. Without decency, the rest is sort of meaningless.”

Lifestyle and Headshots

Lifestyle and Headshots

"There's a reason it's called an image.

It's your image, as a photo and as your brand."

A headshot not only supplements a resume, business card, website... , it tells a story and shows a spark that words can't. It's also an important way to connect with others. Real Estate agents, models, talking heads in the media and professionals of all stripes need one, but honestly everyone does.

Your headshot can make an enormous difference when you're presenting yourself to the world - regardless of your line of work. Professional headshots that are authentic and sharp create business opportunities, help define your image and can provide a second look from potential employers, clients and associates.

Kayce works with each client and photographer to create a look that is both authentic to the person and the goal of the shoot. She makes recommendations about hair, clothing, location, and considers your personality and the industry in order to help create an exceptional image. It's in the details and her results are always flawless.

Weddings

Weddings

"A background in the arts helps me step back
and take in the whole person.
I see what’s distinctive about them."

Weddings are a milestone and Kayce understands that readying a bride isn’t just about making her look beautiful, it’s about being steady, caring, flexible and present. According to those who’ve worked with her, no one listens better, observes more, provides comfort and space or cares better than she does. When all the bridesmaids are finished and have left the room, and the noise and excitement have receded, Kayce is still there.

Her techniques are flawless, but it’s her particular way of listening and being attentive that people remember long after the day.

“Some brides want a run-through to see if their plans will work for their face, veil, hair accessories, dress and theme. Others will bring photos so we can create the look on the day. My job is to make brides look exactly the way they dreamed they would. Beautiful.”

Personal Consultation

Personal Consultation

Personal Consultation

Personal Consultation

"When I talk about ‘being relevant,’ I mean when women are true to themselves. That is relevance, - and it’s more important than any trend."

The old line that “consultants are people who borrow your watch and then tell you what time it is” doesn’t apply to Kayce.

Anyone can go through and throw out old products, but reviewing which ones were barely used and why will reveal what’s missing, in terms of the right products (or product lines), what your skin needs and what you may want to learn about each to make your life better.

Personal consultations are for the woman who wants to learn more about best practices, techniques and the products that will work personally for them.

“I want women to be authentically who they are. Everyone wants to be relevant and in my view, this comes from being true to yourself. Doing so takes information and an ally. Consider me your resource - your secret weapon.”

Group Sessions

Working personally with individuals is one of Kayce’s passions, but she also loves teaching small groups of women who want to ask questions about skincare and makeup, share ideas and challenges, chat about techniques and relate to each other. It’s something women do naturally and very well, so why not set aside time to learn about makeup when there is no pressure to buy. While it’s not the same one-on-one attention, it is a chance to learn with friends and get some inspiration.

Courses include, but are not limited to:
The Basic Face
The Classic Face
Makeup for the Makeup Challenged
The 10-Minute Face
Mother & Daughter Time
From Day to Evening

Kayce suggests groups of no more than 8 ladies… as in 8 bridesmaids, best pals, college friends, mommies, book clubbers, sisters & cousins, mothers & daughters.

Contact Kayce for details and to arrange a group session.
